I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and have always loved music, singing and dancing. At age 14 I gave my life to Christ. I have early memories of what I now understand to be God calling out to me. God placed a sense in my spirit that he wanted to do something great and allow me to be a part of it. I first sang publically when I joined the choir at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute as an alto. A dear Sisterfriend of mine told me that I should not be singing alto but soprano. At the time I had no idea what God had been in the process of doing because I was no singer.

My story is simple: God called out to me before I knew his name. When I found Him I fell in love. I look at my life and find it utterly amazing that despite my circumstances he sought me. The God of all creation considered sinful me. His love for me is independent of me. In Chayil my passion and my God culminate into the foundation for complete worship. He has given me so much and the least I can offer is my praise.
