About

Kerry Roberts
Born into a Christian home, at a young age, I knew that my life was not my own. As a child, I was always seeking out opportunities to meet someone new and tell them of God's love. I felt drawn to helping others in whatever capacity I was given, mission trips to Belize & Mexico, playing doctor for peers who were ill, and assisting with Health fairs (in Boston).  It was out of this compassion for others,  and service to Christ, that I became a nurse.

As a child I was either singing or performing for my siblings, they as well as I knew that music would be a part of me forever. Whether singing in my elementary schools' "Special Choir," singing in my church choir (Sharon Gospel Choir), or one of many groups (N'Time, Sent, and finally Chayil) it was evident that music was a part of me. It was here in Chayil that the Lord revealed His purpose for the musical abilities and talents that He gifted me with... "use the skills and vocal abilities to restore hope to the hopeless." Chayil is more than a musical group, we are sisters called to prepare our children, and families to establish the Kingdom of God in our hearts today.
